Fitting new slave cylinder - copper union leaking

Hi all,
After losing the clutch the other day it was traced to be a leaking slave cylinder.
Ordered a new one from powers, arrived today so I set about fitting it!
Got the old one off, put the new one on and do everything up, then during bleeding I notice it's dripping at quite a rate (couple per second) from where the copper union from the master cylinder meets the slave.
It all screwed in nice and tight but something obviously isn't right!
Can anyone help point me in the right direction? Should there be a gasket or anything obvious I'm missing?
Annoyingly it was drivable on the small leak before - now it's worse and I won't be able to move it!

If its copper try annealing the flare sometimes they form to the old seat and are reluctant to take to a foreign/new one, explained better than I http://steamshed.com/annealing%20process.html failing that the flare may be cracked or damaged its not usually a problem in my trade TBH

Thanks for the info - learn something new every day!
I've got the tools to try the annealing so may give that a go.
Failing that I might remove the pipe and slave and take it to somewhere like Pirtek and get them to make/supply me a replacement. I see people have had some flexi style hoses made up in the past.

I did think about that actually, but noticed that the fluid seems to be leaking up the edges of the pipe rather than through the thread, so I don't think it would make any difference.You need a brake pipe flaring tool kit. Maybe borrow one from a mate or friendly garage?

Personally I think plan A is favourite, local garage with a decent flaring tool. That one you linked to is shyte (imho).Alternatively would this work?
Is the clutch pipe 3/16 (brake pipe size) or 1/4"? I'm just up the road in Redditch, around all day tomorrow if I can help?

I think it's larger than brake pipe size so would say 1/4". Is the clutch pipe 3/16 (brake pipe size) or 1/4"? I'm just up the road in Redditch, around all day tomorrow if I can help?
This is me assuming that it's the bottom of the 4 pipes coming out of the inner wing? The other 3 are smaller so I assume they're brakes.
I'm going to be removing the hose soon so if someone could confirm!

Thanks for the offer, once I get the hose off I'm going to try a couple of local places and see how I get on. I'll let you know if I'm struggling!

I had to cut the copper to get the nut on the inner wing off - someone had had a go at it before and butchered it so a spanner just spun on it. Fortunately a hex socket got it off without issue once cut.
I popped to Earl's in Silverstone to enquire about a flexi hose. Had one made up for £42 - liked the idea of this since I wouldn't have to mess around with the copper again.

If anyone needs to do the same, it's now saved on their system as "TVR Clutch flexi hose" under document number 175246 so you should just be able to quote that and they'll know what to make.
The length is perfect for my set up, I'd be tempted to ask for another inch or two on the length, as we know not all TVR's are built the same!
It also comes with a couple of copper washers in case the inner wing part didn't seat perfectly - mine seems to be fine so I haven't used them.
