I've just cleaned my black car, and its come up a treat, except the sills/lower bumpers are a bit milky/dusty looking. How do I get these bits back to black?

Are they painted or plastic trim bits?

You could try using a bit of swirl remover and polishing up, take away the surface and shine it up. Careful not to put too much pressure and go through the lacquer.

yes, thanks for your reply. I think I will clay the surface then polish, as you suggest. Its just as if the dirt has become ingrained, very annoying.
