Afternoon,

Has anyone had this issue on a VAG car with the 2.0 tsi engine?

My mk6 Golf GTI has this error code, which apparently needs the entire manifold replaced as the sensor is not separate.

Not had the issue personally but I'm aware it's a common issue with Scirocco owners, which share the same engine. Some have even managed to get goodwill from VW out of warranty for the new manifold.

Push dealer and VW Customer Services for goodwill.

Yup this is a very common problem which unfortunately affected my Scirocco too.

As you have mentioned , only solution is a new manifold which is not cheap.

I got mine online cheaper than quoted by the Garage here

Thanks for the replies.

I ended up getting the manifold replaced, and injectors as apparently they can cause issues when removed and reinstalled.
Came to £400 including parts and labour which I didn't think was too bad.

Car is transformed, night and day difference - kicking myself for not getting it done sooner.
