M550i not coming to UK

I have been waiting in anticipation for the forthcoming M550i and see the first of the reviews are coming through. TG have given a solid review, before stating at the end it is not coming to the UK, nor is the 550d. Is this true??? If so I would be gutted, this would be perfect - an M5 with more sensible running costs, yet still with a big twin turbo V8.
