Hi,

My VWFS lease car is being collected Friday with appraisal on Thursday.

Today, "Service Due in 27 days" appears on the dash.

Do I need to quickly get it serviced?

Thanks
Keith

My maths isn't great but next Friday is not 27 days away. Check the lease agreement though

Yeah, already have and it's not clear either. To me, this light is a warning that the service is coming up.

Will call VWFS on Monday and ask, I've spoken to them before and they are very helpful.

If it goes back before the service is due then it's fine. With Merc there's even a 30 day grace period.

The leasing company will collect the car whenever you want as long as the lease is paid up. I returned my Merc 3 weeks early to avoid the service bill. I had the replacement already on the drive so wasn't an inconvenience.

Sorted, spoke to VWFS who had to check due to the wording of the message. As the service is due after collection they are liable for the cost, only £149 but rather they paid than me.
