I've done a search on PH but haven't seen any truly relevant results so I thought I'd ask here.

Our lab is not a good traveller. He drools like mad in the car (obviously a bit stressed) plus he molts like hell! As a result we don't take him out in the car unless we really have no choice.

Today he compounded that by taking a quick dip in a stream. I need a boot liner that can be quickly deployed and avoids the issue of copious hair and drool deposits.

A search seemed to suggest Bootbuddy as the market leader but I'd like to hear of any other recommendations.

I have a Boot Buddy in the back of my XF Sportbrake and would recommend it.

We have a Black Lab puppy incoming in a few weeks. Did you manage to source anything? I am looking at Carbox moulded plastic unit to fit exactly in our new VW Tiguan and have a boot bumper lip so it doesn't scratch the bumper getting in and our (when it is older). They are around 200quid but totally water proof so will actually be useful for all the kids bikes and stuff.

I've bought a liner from this ebay seller 3 times now, for 3 different cars: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311663552198

100% happy with all of them. Tough, waterproof, slip resistant, fits well.

We use overthetop, the set up for the landcruiser is now 14 years old and still looks presentable.
