one-off bumper recreation
Discussion
Hello.
I would like some reccomendations of fabrication shops that could replicate my used and abused bumper.
It comes from an Austin Beach car prototype and it is unique and was most probably hand built in the Longbridge BMCexperimental departmnent.
I made do with a Riley Elf/Wolseley Hornet bumpe . Although it fits, it is not completely right, some holes do not line up and the sides are a little shorter and with a different profile.
The old bumper is made of very thin sheet metal, iIt has cracks and bolts welded to it and cannot be repaired,. I think. At least not in Greece.
Could you reccomend a fabrication shop/panel beater? that could do a good copy of the original bumper, or even better repair the original one?

Derby Plating would be my first point of call. The have restored/repaired bumpers for me that you wouldn't have thought possible.
