Just came here to post the same thing. Never realised he was same age as me give or take a year. I really like his stuff. Will have a listen to 23 AM on the way home.

Very sad, Children was one of my favourite dance tracks. It's slightly scary realising it was over twenty years ago that it was released as well.

So sad, I listen to Children at least once a month.

It's the track that really got me excited about the cross-over of deep house into mainstream. Up until then it was small clubs in cities with a knowing (relatively) few loving the music. I was already into Platipus records, and the track's appearance on Platipus Vol2 twenty two years ago (!), as well as some compilations was a big deal. I think it did a vast amount to turn the Lager-Massive (not larger smile ) onto proper house music, and whilst this is not completely positive, it represented a wider audience and for this Robert Miles should/will be proud.

It's a bit sad that 'Children' is the one he's best known for, given its origin.

I like the various remixes of 'One and One'.

I put Platipus Vol2 on this morning for the commute, still a great album.

Union Jack - Red herring

I know I'm in a minority here, but wow!

I listened to this on Anjuna beach in Goa in 1998, and the world henceforth was a different place smile

but then I also like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qs3ybxXaVOg

One of the tracks - and albums - which got me into dance music.
