Hi all.

Just wondering who's used an e-ticket that you download and print yourself to get in and out?

The instructions seem to be that the paper has to be an unfolded A4 that's blank both sides (can't see how it can be blank both sides & printed on, biggrin ).

Has anyone had any problems by folding it so the barcode if visible in the usual plastic wallets hung round the neck or do they insist you carry an A4 sheet round with you?

Any advice would be great.

Cheers smile

Used these last year no probs folded them up in the plastic wallet bar code visible and all scanned ok all weekend, as for the blank sheet stuff they just mean only the ticket printed on one side nowt on the other, just take a couple of copies in case of rain ah but that's not going to happen smile

Used print at home e-tickets the last couple of times. Last years were designed for printing on A4 and then folded twice to show the bar code and details on the top third. They fitted in a plastic wallet easily. I had some handy fully waterproof ones made by Ortlieb but printed off a couple of spares and kept them in the dry in my car just in case.

Used these the last few years.

No problems with them. Utterly pointless paying for tickets to be delivered and you also get them instantly on booking.

I have taken an A4 print out in my bag just in case, but I also make a cut down version to normal ticket size and then laminate them also. They then sit in the ticket holders and are waterproof and robust.

I expected a 'jobs worth' difficult attitude on presentation, but not even a second glance. Barcode works, ticket valid, no issues.

Sounds good. I might make one to fit in sleeve then and take a couple of A4 spares. Cheers smile
