Best corrosion inhibitors
Discussion
Bilt Hamber do a very good range of products, from clear "Dynax" through to "hydrate 80" both of which I've used on my Lancer turbo.
Well worth giving them a ring as they're pretty helpful, the products are not cheap but they really are very good.

Have to also recommend Bilt Hamber stuff.
Dynax S50 cavity wax for box sections, sills & other cavities (comes with a lance about 2 feet long with a 4 way nozzle in the end so you can be sure of getting good coverage when working blind).
UB underbody wax for floor pans and wheelarches etc.(you can get this in a clear variant if you want to keep your nice shiny floors on show – I prefer the black stuff though). I like to give it a light top up each autumn to protect against the winter nasties as my Amazon is used all year round and lives outside.
Excellent products IMO.

Thanks guys.
My Amazon has gone now but have spotted a Ford Consul estate of 1957 vintage. Looks very tidy but i am aware that it could rust before my eyes, hence the question.
Had a read up about the marque and particular model and they are indeed very prone to rust.
Are there garages about that take on applying the anti rust treatments (properly). I do not have the facilities, nor the body!

Have a look on google - you should find something near you.
Don't know where you're based, but there is a place in Spalding (Lincolnshire) that I know a couple of people have recommended. Think they use the Dinitrol range to fully underseal your car.
Including removing exhausts etc, I've been told they charge 300 quid or so for the process.
Love older Fords... but they sure do like to rust, so make sure whatever you buy is done properly (I treat my own cars for this reason - there's a friendly local garage who 'lend' me their ramps for beer money if I need to get to do a thorough job with underseal).
