Job advert, possibly scammed?

Have I been blindingly stupid?
I'm constantly looking for a decent long term career just to get some normality back in my life. I was a lorry driver but currently cannot do this for "medical reasons." Long story done to death on here.
The role I am after is as a Chauffeur, has to be for a private family because of the same medical issues as above. I have some experience in this field now and like to think I'm reasonably good at it but am restricted as to what I can apply for due to the reasons mentioned.
At the weekend after updating my CV, (thanks too some helpful info from rog) and whilst trawling all the normal sites a job caught my eye.
Job sounded ideal, its for a large family in London, Canary Wharf to be exact which is very handy for me to commute too. All the roles associated with my experience in the field, plus a bit more on the fleet management side, (which appeals) and being a general all rounder who goes the extra mile.
Perfect.
I applied with new CV and a covering letter, that was on Sunday.
I got a reply today saying I had been successful, and that I needed to send my D.O.B for CRB and Insurance purposes for all the families vehicles.
Once these checks had been cleared, they would like to see me on Saturday for a chat and to go into greater detail about the job with a view to start on Monday. Its also a decent wage.
Sound to good to be true?
Here are my concerns.
The job popped up on google and the link took me to the "freeads" site. A bit different from the norm, but some top chauffeur jobs do come up in some weird and wonderful places.
The add very much appeared to be put up by the actual 'Head' of the family. This is not the norm, but who knows?
On reading the add back I noticed there were a couple of spelling mistakes and this did indeed ping my attention.
When I got in from work today I wanted to look in more detail at the initial ad.
Its gone, account closed, hmmm. I now have a 'potential' offer that on paper really does appeal but I have no actual contact for the job as everything was done through the Freeads page, so no phone number or email address.
I do have a gentleman's name, but guessing if it's a scam its just made up?
The only thing they have asked for from me other than my CV is my D.O.B.
I didn't send it.
Any thoughts?

Have a chat and sound it out. Could be a scam...could be genuine.

Will apply now for the first one with my updated CV, as I tick all the boxes for this.
Sadly not really anygood for the 2nd one as my Mrs has never worked in this field, and all my experience has been more informal than formal, mind you I think we could do it, but don't think we'd get a 2nd look due to the lack of experience.
Still not heard anything back from the odd free ads, advert.
Emailed free ads twice, no response from them.
Scam. Apart from the various dodgy factors that you have already noted, I would add that a large and wealthy family would not be likely to live in Canary Wharf. It is a business enclave miles from the posh bits of London. There are few houses there, although there are blocks of expensive flats south of the office area.
