.....is it worth getting this fixed?

Now I know it's very, very minor but it will bug me and I promised myself I'd keep the car 100%.

Only DIYABLE fix is to wet and dry it that will steel leave exposed wheel with no lacquer. How would they fix it in a body shop? Surely not a full refurb. Never dealt with wheel repairs before so no clue.

What do we think in terms of cost?

Cheers.

If it was me I'd just rub that down and carefully touch it in with wheel paint.
Actually, if it was really me, is say sod it and wait for some more damage to make a refurb worth the expense.

A mobile repairer would come out and do that for less than £50.

Well I went ahead and sorted it myself. Wet sand, generic Halfords silver touch-up brush, wet sand again, couple of coats of lacquer, rub down with a mild abrasive (G3). Picture shows (left to right) before, during and after. Think I've done a decent job if I do say so myself.

I wouldn't laugh at that, purely as if you're wheels are mint and you know they are, when there's a small bit of damage it's bloody annoying!

Well done on the DIY repair too OP smile
