Just been out in my mates S3 after returning from Austec today. He has had it chipped and christ does it make a difference. He is now pushing out 208bhp and it flys all the way through the rev range. It's pure Granted he has had an engine rebuild and an amazing bespoke exhaust but if you ever get the spare dosh do not hesitate to get yourself down to Austec (and no i'm not on commission ) Best money you can spend on your P&J.

My is standard pushing out circa 160 bhp (large bloke Austec) said it was about right for a well kept engine on an unmodified S

I know the cars were rated at 170bhp when new... but TVR always hypped figures and bearing in mind some bits of the engine are tierd after 15 years...

So that 35-45 increase in BHP.... Gob Smacked ..

How much hard-earned are we talking about roughly for the Austec treatment?
