Dash cam with 3g and motion alerts?

Hello all,

I am looking for a dash cam, it will have a permanent power feed from within the vehicle.

I have been searching and not sure if what I am after exists.

I need the camera to detect motion in front of the car and send either pictures or video to me....

Anything out there that will do this? Budget would be up to £300

I'm in a similar boat (new car due end of month) old Dashcam was fine (front & back) but no way of uploading/auto backup/notification of any events/incidents.

So just purchased the Blackvue DR650GW-2CH which does Cloud notification/backup etc. I've then already got a EE Mifi which I'm having installed at the same time as the DashCam into the Car - this will run as a Wifi HotSpot/4G which has a 10GB 4G Data Sim Card in it.

Camera will be setup to Connect/push notification (emails/text/Vidoe/photos etc) via the 4G connection.

So not maybe the all-in-one solution you;re after - but certianly one which meets your needs.

You may have to up your budget as Dashcam comes in @ around £300 - and then Mifi/Sim/Data would be on top. Upside is If you have kids they can use Mifi in the car (as some newer cars are starting to offer)

Excellent, I'll look into that. I was suspecting I would have to go with a separate 4g mifi unit....
