Does anyone know if all Cayennes were Euro 4 as I can't find any concrete info online, I'm looking at an 05 Turbo to avoid the impending doom of diesels and also have a nice V8 again as I only do 7-8k a year and my commute is short a diesel isn't really worth it now.

Give a Porsche dealer a call, unless they are totally useless they should be able to let you know. Euro 6 diesels aren't affected by this new tax grab sorry pollution charge.
Looking at the implementation date I would assume that a 2005 Porsche Cayenne turbo would be Euro 3 and one registered in 2006 would be Euro 5.
Have a look here https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/advice/know-how/euro-e...

Thanks, I will give one a try, most places I've looked online seems to point to them being Euro 4 compliant early so an 04/05 should be ok, I just want to make certain before taking the plunge.
I'm hoping for a bit more reliability too, I've spent £4K in repairs on the RRS in the last year the worst being a recon gearbox!.

Just looked it up in the brochure (printed June 2004) - all 955 Cayennes are Euro 4

Great, thanks for that thumbup , for reliability and spec I'm definitely better off going for a turbo so I've gathered?, given the fairly small gap in pricing between one and an S.

Yes the ones to go for are either the V6 or the Turbo, the V8s have a well earned reputation for lunching their engines - hence the low prices
