I am after a favour

I have some new toys to play with, a couple of bulletcams and camcorders to record in car footage from various angles on trackdays. Unfortunately I don't have a trackday planned for a while so I am looking for someone to practice on next week

So if anyone has a trackday booked next week and would not mind me taking some interior footage (forwards, backwards, driver, speedo etc). In return I will edit it all up with some nice titles, maybe a bit of background music and then send you a DVD to keep as a souvenir of your trackday heroics.

I am in Northampton so anywhere Midlandish is preferable (Silverstone, Donnington, Rockingham, Bedford, Mallory) but I'm happy to travel anywhere as I have the week off work anyway.

Any takers?

I shall assume that the offers of a drive in a GT3 won't materialise just yet?

Thanks guys

I don't think I can make either of those dates so far (unless Simon means Sunday 10th April).

Don't worry about the cams coming loose. The camcorders will be strapped down inside a padded bag (or glovebox if you have one) and the only things inside the car will be tiny bulletcams (about the size of a ladies lipstick).

......and no I'm not wangling for a GT3 drive (I normally overtake those when on track in my 944

Maybe you can have a date with Mr Manthey next time at Bedford.

OK, this is it.

I've now (don't ask) got a day booked with HRH Don palmer on Monday 4th April at Bruntingthorpe. Let me know if this is suitable. This could also turn into a money spinner for you, details of which could be discussed later.

Thankyou for an excellent day Alan a 993TT and a Don Palmer day are truly automotive heaven (and a tyre fitters delight).

I've just submitted a low quality movie to pistonheads.tv

Thanks again
