In a shock move this morning, Gordon Brown has put himself forward for the position of Pope should JPII snuff it.
Gordon Brown said " After the stunning job I have done of running Britain for the last 8 years, I feel I deserve the chance to take on something a little bigger. It will also mean I will be the mouthpiece of God rather than Satan for a change."
