So.. Will I notice a difference?

So I've done something silly and bought some wheels off a friend.

They are Mavic Cosmic Pro Carbons, they are my first aero wheels. They have a 40mm profile.

I currently have Sram S27 which have a 27mm rim. They are around the same weight.

My question is, am I honestly going to feel a difference?

You may notice that you can hold a very slightly higher speed on the flats for the same effort.

That's what I was thinking. I wasn't expecting to suddenly be stepping in G. THOMAS after today's tumble haha

I imagine there'll certainly be a placebo effect anyway.

And yes, it should look the nuts which is always a bonus!

The difference won't be huge, except your wallet. Buy a new chain and re-grease your bottom bracket to double the effect.

You'll notice the difference in a cross-wind!!

I notice a marginal difference on my Zipp's v my Fulcrums, both similar weight but on the flats on a 'up to breezy' day the Zipps are marginally faster but much more comfortable - probably because the Fulcrums are as still as Jimmie Saville.....
