Porsche 958 2013 Wheel Arch Paint Issue

Looking for some help on this issue.
Within the last 6 months I've noticed an issue with 3 of the wheel arches on my 2013 Porsche Cayenne Diesel.
I picked up the car around 6-9 months old in May 2014 from Porsche Leeds who stated the car had been owned by the dealer or someone who worked there.
It came from the factory with the sports kit option fully painted in carmine red.
We recently took it to Porsche Hatfield who have been very slow to process our claim. Today, after much chasing they informed us that the claim had been rejected. The person who we had been dealing with (who turns out wasn't dealing with the claim) stated we don't cover corrosion. This is plastic trim so I'm not sure thats relevant. He then passed me onto someone else as he claimed he wasn't actually dealing with the claim.
Once I got through to the person who was dealing with the claim they stated they didn't know why it had been rejected and mumbled something about a 3 year warranty but stated he would send me the report from Porsche GB (I am yet to receive).
It appears as if the lacquer is failing on the 3 arches. The only arch that isn't failing is the front right which someone at Porsche Hatfield stated has been resprayed before (not under our ownership). If that arch has been resprayed I would assume the lacquer is much thicker and therefore not failing.
I'm not quite sure what I should do now. In my opinion, this really should be covered as its a very expensive option and the paint should not be failing in under 4 years. Should I put in a claim through the small claim courts or would they be able to get out of it.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Do you have any issues at all with the paint anywhere else, either other plastic elements or metal panels?
It would be interesting to see what reason for rejection is given as it doesn't look like damage caused by impact or similar and other than some chemcal having been spilt on it or extreame heat I can see what would have caused that. It seems highly likely that there was an isssue with either the prep or curing process of the original spray. I would be pressing Porsche on this.
