The ones you create yourself online using your own photos.
Has anyone used one of these recently? Any recommendations?
Having googled, CEWE based services e.g. Jessops, seem to get good reviews. However there's a clause in their T&Cs which basically says you give them a free perpetual licence to use your photos in any way they see fit. Not sure I'm happy with that, so particularly interested in any that don't lay claim (assuming you've noticed!).
TIA

A friend of mine has uploaded many of his photographs and printed several books in various formats using the Blurb website, link is http://www.blurb.co.uk/ I have to say they look very impressive indeed. Well worth a look over.

Where did you see that? I can't see that here https://photo.jessops.com/terms-and-conditions/#1jr502 said:

It's in the EULA when you install the software:Jessops software EULA said:
4.6 Authorized cewe-photo-provider and its suppliers claim no ownership of Your personal photos. You hereby grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully-paid perpetual licence to use, download, upload, copy, print, display, reproduce, post, transmit and distribute these photos in the normal course of our business.
Yes, I know, who reads EULAs?
I've sold many hundreds of books via Blurb. They are not the best, nor the cheapest, but a good quality for the price. Never had a complaint from a punter.
You MUST sign up with them and get the 40% off codes they give out every few weeks, makes them much more affordable.
Have also done photobox, but they are more expensive and not as good.
Queensbury are great, but big money.

I have just used Vanilla PhotoBooks, a 42 page 10x10 inch book and its printed on pretty thick card with a faux leather case, came back within a couple of days and I am really happy with everything.......But it was pretty expensive compared to others I have seen since. Overall very happy and its a present for bestest mates so not an issue.
I've long used the Mac service linked to Photos and generally been happy with what I got but they started going downhill a bit last year - printing was coming out quite dark compared to the original (even when compensated in post-edit) and half a map I used in one didn't come out.
I thought I'd give them one more go recently and they've obviously upped their game. Spectacular results.
