993tt upgrades
Discussion
I have a 996 tt and used Revo near Guildford as they do a lot of work with Paragon where I got my car. They seemed to do a good job but I have also used AMD before and think AMD are the better one as they use a rolling road to map everything to your individual car. DMS remap without using a rolling road as far as I know.
Hope that is of some help.
REVO = Simon on 01932 242881.
With the revo system you can buy a boost controller system which you can then use to change the settings yourself, it costs around £250 and is next on my list of purchases.

Thanks, I couldn't find anything about Porsches on there though just Seat, VW etc..
Do DMS do 993tt remaps? They seem to be well-known for the plug-in 996tt conversions - didn't know they did other ones.
There was a PH news article about AmD 993tt upgrades here:

Its worth considering upgrading the suspension too if you are increasing the pony output. Remember Porsche uprated the suspension on the 993 turbo S. The standard Monroe dampers are said to be shot between 50-60k miles too. Bilstein and H&R do good systems. I recently got the PSS 9 fitted to mine, and the difference is awesome, cost was around 2,250 + VAT.
Without trying to tell you how to suck eggs, etc, think hard if you are going to want to mod for further power in the future. Since remember the AMD upgrade to 450 uses the standard K16 turbos....and if you want to go upwards from there then its 16/24 hybrids or K24 turbos. Its a case of modding the car so you don't have to keep replacing the same components (turbos, oil cooler, etc) to reach higher levels of
loonacy. Setting a good foundation from the start to build on I suppose
A good kit is the OEM 450 kit from www.carnewal.com including K24 turbos, new ecu, and bigger oil cooler.
Hope this helps.
