Network privacy
Discussion
I don't much about computing to be honest , but we've just had a small (3pc) network put in at work. Is there supposed to be a way to keep files seperate from one computer to another ?
When I open MY DOCUMENTS>MY PICTURES I discover that it contains recently downloaded snaps of his American girlfriend ! Surely MY should mean MY ?
Can I not store files that are "invisible" to the network , and likewise he do the same ?

Windows?
What version?
Are you using any sort of user accounts or is it just "my PC, his PC"?
I guess you want some degree of sharing (printer? internet access?). If it's only to share an internet connection, just switch of File and Printer sharing (in the vicinity of Control Panel->Networking, exact method varies a bit by version).
