Is there anywhere that can replate the chrome effect on black plastic badges ?

I know the people who did my headlamps (Dual Metallising in the midlands somewhere) do apply a highly-reflective surface to plastic parts as they refurbish plastic headlamp reflectors. Whether they'd be able to deal with leaving some parts as plain plastic (if that's required) is another matter. I know the badges on the back of my Audi were black plastic but with silver faces, most of which has now rubbed off.

I've wondered how to restore those too... but sold the car (an 86 WR) before I even started to restore it, and the MB has all chrome badges.

But... if I were to do it I'd be looking at the metal foil that plastic modelling guys use for bare-metal finishes.
