PDK gear change delay with push/pull buttons
Discussion
I bought my 981 with the multi function steering wheel so I can have audio controls, I don't mind the push/pull buttons in fact I think they are more intuitive than the paddles as I can go up and down gears with either hand.
However I can't help but feel there is a delay between pushing the button and the car changing gear, compared to using the paddles which feels instant and quite satisfying.
The shifts are lightening fast if I let PDK do its own think in sports plus, but when in manual mode it just seems a bit slow.
I did a Google and there are numerous threads about this on US forums, but I'm wondering if anyone on PH has noticed the same?

Mine is a 987.2, but experienced the same problem with the buttons.
I have replaced my steering wheel with a Tequipment Sport from Design 911 with paddles, and the changes in all 3 modes are much quicker. They were so slow with the buttons that I gave up, and just let the PDK auto do its thing.

I wonder if Porsche deliberately engineered in a delay for users with the buttons.
