I found a small split in the inboard boot yesterday. A browse of the varley manual didn't reveal much more info on how to do this.
Anyone know - Are the replacement boots/gaiters readily available? what original vehicle?
what are the torque settings for the rear hub nut? IIRC my 390SE nuts were nylock type and were single use. are they the same on the Tamora?

The boot is on the inside of both cv joints frown
You can easily unbolt the drive shaft...it's 8(?) M10 metric fine HT bolts at diff and wheel end then out it comes. Replace the bolts and the spreader washers. Torque is 50lbsft iirc.
But boot and cv seem to only replace together.
They are Sierra cosworth...same on Tuscan and also Griff. Have a look on both forum part lists.

Thanks Pete- I did wonder if it would come out by splitting the flanges.
PS- by inboard- I meant diff end, not as in inside the joint.
next job............
PS- I did trawl around the forum trying to detect a parts list to no avail frown if anyone can post the link for a muppet like me...

They are indeed the 108mm OD 28 spline types for T cars too.
Plenty to choose from on eBay.
Search for cossie Cv joints.
