Some fantastic driving on display from Timo Glock here, the video really gets going around the 7 min mark. Lighter than the outgoing model with a smart AWD system is a fantastic achievement by BMW. Seems the car can be 2WD or 4WD, fully switchable. Cannot wait for these to be released.

4WD turbo M5. That's progress. Schmee also a lot less annoying as well which I guess is also progress. BMW just took a big st on Audi's lawn.

Surprised at the lack of interest in the video, perhaps my thread title wasn't dramatic enough biggrin

Anyway, surely this new model is going to bring a 7-10% price increase over the F80 given the weight reductions and extra driveline componentry? I have been wanting AWD as a resident of dark & damp N.Scotland for a while now but since we are moving to sunny NW.Wales, I am tempted to go for an F80 Comp pack and to wait and see how this new model is received. Oh, and wait for the cheap lease deals. lick

Cheers

Yeah wishful thinking I guess, but not as cold at least around Llandudno.
