Roads near Barcelona

I'm staying in Barcelona for a few days and will be hiring a car to explore the nearby area.

Any recommendations for good roads in the area? Going north into the mountains?

I've got the car for 3 days / 600km but I'm staying in Barca throughout, so my plan was to just spend a few hours a day getting to some nice roads and back.

The BV-5301 was a lot of fun when I drove it last year, even in a diesel golf!
