Concert at the RICOH, where to park?

I've been to the Ricoh arena before, dropping the ex-wife off to watch Take That, picking her up afterwards. I remember driving a long road to it off the M6 but because I didn't park up anywhere I've no idea what to do with the car. I'm going in June to see Robbie Williams but dread parking the car. Has anyone else driven there before? Is it an idea to drive to Coventry and taxi it to the arena?
Book in the ricoh car park, it will be £20
Everywhere else you'll need a permit because some tit decided to put a stadium in the middle of a residential area, think the exclusion zone is over a mile so you'll virtually have to park in town and a taxi from town to the ricoh is going to be about £15 anyhow.
