Don't seem to get as many old toothbrushes now Iv'e gone electric !!
But at Tesco's they are two for 38p.
Great for getting into those difficult areas ie. Around the dials when cleaning the leather.
Around the throttle linkage.
Greasing the bonnet bolts.
etc.
Just a thought.

If you look carefully they're doing 10 for 99p. I got some the other day for my wheels.

I'll probably get a barrage of 'don't do that you'll scratch it!!' replies but I use a soft bristle brush (one of those flexible neck ones) for getting flies off my front bumper.

I've got a really good sponge for getting dead insects off the windscreen and paintwork. It's a standard sort of sponge wrapped in a kind of cloth mesh/net arrangement which catches on the squashed stuff and shifts it so the sponge can wipe it off - very effective, and quite gentle on the paintwork.

Got it from Halfords if I remember correctly.

I've got the same blue sponge thing - works a treat for getting all those bits of dead flies, moths, traffic wardens of my windscreen. Does not seem to scratch glass or panitwork. Highly recommended.
