964 c2 or c4 ?

anyone driven or even owned both , is there much difference and does the c4 cost anymore to run ?
also is there any differences between an early and a late car ?

owned a 1988 3.2 untill last summer , so i do know a bit of what to expect .

any advice welcome steve

I own a c2 one of the last a 94/L lovley spec car air con, ruffle leather, coil overs etc. the car drives superb and the heaters work perfectly. But I havnt driven a c4 to compare.

Driven both. Was actually very impressed with the 964 C4. Felt pretty much like a 964 C2 until at the limit, but more benign.

Strangely, the 964 C4 impressed me a tad more than the 993 C4s I have driven, even a 993 C4S back to back with the 964 C2 on the same track. The 964 seemed to have a bit more of the two wheel drive 'feel' and tactility. But then there could be other factors at play. (That is not to knock the C4S, it is a pretty awesome tool!).
