How can I pass on a paperless ticket

OK, so I've got 2tickets for the radio ones big weekend and I can't make it now. I was going to pass em on to my mate, but checking the small print it says I (me) must turn up with my id and payment card to get them in. If it was a normal paper ticket you'd just hand the tickets over get them scanned and away you go. Obviously this is to stop touts but is there a way I can pass them on?

Stops touts selling them on, can't say I'm not in favour of it even though it does leave genuine people like yourself with essentially a wasted ticket.

There should be some system where you can contact the original seller to cancel your own ticket and re-print a new one with new serial numbers to a new name/card at the same price. Does that not exist?

It seems you can give them to someone else but you will have to turn up with them to collect the actual ticket...
