I've had an 05 2.7 TDV6 RRS for a little over a year now and have seriously been considering moving it on for either a Cayenne Turbo or an FFRR Supercharged or TDV8 while it's a nice enough car I've just never been that fond of it, the trouble is I've spent a small fortune on it since owning the main bits being-cambelt service, new gen LR lower arms, discs and pads, new rear prop and worst of all a recon gearbox and torque converter which is still under warranty, and it's just had a set of new tyres.
It's had half its value spent on it and mechanically in very good running order now, just don't know wether to take a risk and get something else or better the devil you know.
Wanted to see what other LR owners would do really.

You have done the big ticket items so keep it for at least a year as then you can say they have been recently done and also get some use out of it. If you buy say a TDV8 Vogue, you're into air compressors, turbos (x2!) and age depending arms etc also.

cambelt service,
new gen LR lower arms,
discs and pads,
new rear prop
a recon gearbox and torque converter which is still under warranty,
and it's just had a set of new tyres.

The only thing left for you is the suspension compressor & then you have done the Full House!
