Apparently Kurt has had a lot of trouble with getting this car running right, if it does at the moment. If I remember correctly, cooling was the biggest problem.

I wouldn't suggest it as a path for every Ultima builder to go down

I agree with ultimapaul. Stig don't do it. A sensible rover engine will be fine. Now lets go back over your ideas for an engine shall we. Start with 350 bhp move to 420-450bhp then on to 525bhp. After sensible advice from Ted and others about the power of the locost move onto blown 600bhp. Next question is that after Paul's comments are you going for the magic 1000bhp.

I am just a bit concerned and I hope others don't follow stigs ideas
