Superflex delivery times
Discussion
Superflex delivery is absolutely wa*k.
I've stopped using them and have a UK firm making my bushes for me now (Powerflex , who have been an absolute joy to work with, I'm now the sole distributor for their TVR bushes and I hope it's going to be a long and happy relationship). I got so pissed off with ordering 200/300 bushes at a time and only 15 turning up. When they come from australia with a 3 month lead time on ordering it just isn't funny.
In my experience trying to order superflex bushes is one of teh most frustrating things you can possibly do
Incidently I don't know if you want to cancel your superflex order, but th powerflex bushes will be coming with the low friction liners perfected for Caterham Cars, so they'll be a stap up from the superflex bush anyway.
Will keep you informed when they turn up .. they're making the tooling at the moment, possible delivery in a few weeks I hope.

The bushes did arrive but i am not happy with the quality (used to cast polymers when i were a lad!) and delivery times.
I am in the process of having bushes manufactured and multiple moulds made.
I hope to use my car as a mule with a set of Joospeed springs and shocks.
If i am happy with the transformation i will be 'knocking em out'.
I know that the company producing them will give a less porous and better mixed product and cheaper than the powerflex items.
Anyone interested please PM me.
I have yet to decide on a colour, what do you lot think??

they're too soft, offer worse location that the std tvr bush and wear through in no time
I onkly sell teh purple bush fr the upper rea wishbone damper bolt bush as the extra flexibility helps in lining up the bolt and also means the extra flex doesnt contribute to premature wear. In every other place the purple bush is to be avoided at all costs in my opinion. It is worse than the std bush.

Interesting, I bought a set of Powerflex bushes for my old 400 and the whole lot were mismade, none of the central bolt cores matched up to the factory bolts which was a real pain when you have your pride and joy in bits!
I went up to Peninsula that afternoon and purchased a set of blue Superflex which dropped straight in although they did seem a tad soft, they didn't fail on me though.
I have to say that Powerflex were immensely appologetic and gave me a full refund as they knew there was a design problem and couldn't supply an alternative for the Chimaera.
I am now in the market for new bushes and can't wait months - what do I go for????
