Swapping seats in a 991

I am not finding the 4way sports seats comfortable. Is it easy to swap over to 18way sports plus I.e. A straight swap with same rails and electrical connections?

Also is it possible to swap over covers? Mine are in expresso with hard backs but the ones I've found are in black with leather backs.

Had a similar issue on my 997 GTS, but it turns out that each Porsche is built with a wiring loom just for the options fitted, so if no electric seats - no wiring loom for electric seats is present. That means you can't put electric seats back in a car that wasn't built with them in the first place.

It has 4way electrics so there is a supply but will it gave the same connectors?

I'd say it's unlikely, but worth asking your local OPC to see if all the connections there for the 4-way would fit the 18-way seats.

Might be a question for Pope. I can't see it being a problem as you are not trying to add functionality that is not contained in the seats.
