I'd like to buy a front page reprint (or copy of a newspaper) from a particular date last year, however before I go ahead and purchase, I'd prefer to have an idea of what the front page actually looks like.

I have found many companies that will sell me reprints of the front page/copies of the paper.

What's the best way to go about this?

If it makes any difference, preferably The Times in the UK and The New York Times in the US.

Thanks in advance chaps (and chapesses).

I subscribe to The Times and have access to the archive. If you let me have the date I can at least tell you what the front page headlines were that day if that helps? For some reason the archive function only runs up until Jan 1st 1985 so if it's post that date then I can't help.

Thank you for the kind offer. It's last year I'm afraid, but thank you anyway.

Perfect for the UK, thank you very much.

Unfortunately they only have today's US papers.
