Evening all,

Wasn't sure the best place to post this but thought it fitted in nicely here in the classic cars forum.

I managed to blag myself a walk around the UN buffer zone in Nicosia, the last divided city. Within it lies an old Toyota dealership, abandoned since the city's inhabitants were forced to flee near war in 1974.

Despite how some of the cars look, they are actually in pretty good condition and apart from a few, are mostly complete. Some of them even have that new car smell. Given the nice climate, there is very little rust so would be perfect for restoration!

I'm assured by the guide that some are quite rare and valuable and apparently Toyota have expressed an interest in some should they ever become available. I know very little about old Jap cars so happy to be filled in on what they are and if they are indeed rare.

Happy to answer any questions if I can.

Very interesting time warp photos, please let me know when you find any abandoned Alfa or Lancia dealerships!
