CV review sites - worth it?

Hi all,

Due to impending relocation I am brushing up my CV for the first time in about 18 months. I have sent it to a few friends and family for feedback but to be honest it's just caused more confusion as people's opinions always differ. Is it worthwhile sending it to a CV review place? If so does anyone have any recommendations? CV writing is not my forte, fortunately I am much stronger in interviews.

lots of con artists who want to charge £2k on logic of what's it worth to you in the job market, rather than what's it cost me to perform the task you want me to do.

CV Review sites seem a bit of a con. Get someone who knows what they're looking at to inspect.
