Thank heavens for the Chim

Its been a pretty rough week.
Family bereavements, work, etc,etc.
Generally not good.
I thought it had got better yesterday when I picked up my Audi Avant (work hauler) and it was great.
Then comes the DVLA/Post Office/Tesco fiasco.
Due to a cock up by the Tesco indian call centre with my new vehicle registration, when I went into the post office this morning to tax the Audi, they couldn't do it since the insurance certificate said LK... not LN..... Quick word with Tesco, fax sent to me with new certificate - problem solved surely.
Oh no, the post office don't accept faxed copies of insurance certificates.
Why oh why??? - they're legally binding documents!!!
Spoke to the Police, they said there's no reason why they shouldn't accept it. Spoke to DVLA - we just don't do it. No explanation whatsoever.
I've now got to go and hire a car to pick up the relatives for the funeral on Monday (unfortunately 4 OAPs don't fit in the boot of the Chim )
Tesco are going to pay for it I'm damned sure about that Rant over.

Then I got in the Chim.
Drove for twenty minutes and the stress and anger is gone. I knew i should have got one sooner

Sorry you've had such a bad week. Puts evreything in perspective, but the chim does make being alive very very good! Keep grinning.
