I posted a link to my Alpina review and it was removed.
Did I break a rule?
Just seemed a bit harsh!

Yes its one of the posting rules, you can read them all by clicking the link at the bottom of the page. Its self promotion which they don't allow.

I actually read the T&C's and couldn't see anything about posting a link to a video.
The link doesn't ask you to spend money, download anything etc.

So that's why I asked, unless I have overlooked something?

12e Do not create threads/posts about your own personal websites, blogs, social media channels or video hosting sites such as YouTube. This will be deemed as advertising and/or endeavouring to drive traffic to external sites from PistonHeads.

Its not on the Terms & Conditions, its under posting rules (confusing I know). Have a look at the bottom of the page there is a link to all of them, might be helpful in the future. smile

Just for clarity, the rules of posting have a link at the bottom of most pages.

Rule of posting No.12 states

12) Types of Thread/Posts that are not permitted in the forums:-

e) Do not create threads/posts about your own personal websites, blogs, social media channels or video hosting sites such as YouTube. This will be deemed as advertising and/or endeavouring to drive traffic to external sites from PistonHeads.

Don't confuse the Sites T&C's with the rules of posting.

T&C's
