Hi does anyone with recent experience know what type of electric plug I need for the hook ups on Houx numbered? I've got a three pin blue round one at the minute.

I think they are standard.

Except for Le Mans, I'm not much of a camper. What's standard? The blue 3 pin round thing I have?

Unless you're arriving on the Sat/Sun before the race I wouldn't worry because you almost certainly won't be plugging in to one of the electric posts. What you'll be doing is joining everyone else trying to create the longest daisy-chain of multi-block extension leads known to man, so just bring an extension real, a UK-Euro plug adaptor and a black bin bag (to wrap it in in case it rains).

Thanks and point taken. I'd still like to know what sort of plug is required for hook ups if anyone knows.

The same plug you would use on any UK caravan/camping site.
If you want electric get there early in the week or take a splitter cable so you can daisy chain into the system, take plenty cable as you could be a long way from an electric post.

And don't forget a number of connectors on the tree are knackered, I know the one we have used for the last few years has at least 3 that don't work.

I am going with assumption there will be no power, never had or needed it before, it's just my Wife was getting excited at the prospect of firing up her GHDs every morning. Now I've thought about it, other than a light and my phone charger, there's nothing else I can think to plug in anyway.

Assuming no power ourselves. Bought a powerbank battery thing which should be good for a few charges of the phone. Otherwise sans electricals...

I have USB in the car to keep things topped up on the way down (I'm using the phone as sat nav too). Powerbanks for when I'm there. I'm in Beausejour Speedchills which I believe has sockets to charge from. Probably won't need them.
