Used car Section - Incorrect vehicle data!

Hi,

Where does the vehicle spec data come from?

Examples:
Looks for a VOLKSWAGEN TOUAREG 3.0 V6 ALTITUDE TDI with 240 BHP and it says "Acceleration0 to 62 in 5.7 secs"
Unlikely?!

Search for a Merc ML 500 and it reckons it has 400BHP?!

Having never sold a car on here, I don't know if you can tweak the stats yourself?

Thanks for raising this. We get the data from a third party supplier, CAP/HPI. We can ask them to correct this, but any manually placed adverts on our system can be altered by the seller, before they submit it to us. Dealer adverts can come across to the site automatically via a feed from another website, in this case the seller cannot alter it before it goes live.

If you notice any other anomalies regarding spec data, please send it across to me directly or [e-mail], cheers!
