Punto Diesel 1.3 question

Following several times of refusing to start (but fired up on easy start) though has never stopped running whilst in motion, today the breakdown said the diesel pump is at fault, our lad was there and has sent me this... is the diesel pump there?

the guy said it wasnt the injector pump at fault, im sure some of the fiat diesels have a fuel pump in the tank?
