Reliability of swivelling LCDs.
Discussion
Some new cameras (compact and SLR) have swivelling LCD backs. How reliable are they?
I bought a compact waterproof camera for the kids use primarily because its a bit 'tougher' than normal compacts (Olympus TG 850- which has a swivelling LCD). The LCD stopped working after 2 years (1 year warranty) but it still takes pictures. I still like the idea of a cheap (<200 pound) waterproof compact, but not so much the swivelling part.
Do others have swivelling LCDs that have broken?

I've had a Nikon and now two Panasonics with swivelling screens and had no problems with them. I do tend to treat my cameras with care though.
I've found them very useful. I take pictures of stationary cars and you can get into awkward places with them. Further, slightly higher level shots are easy enough to do by standing on tip toe. I have also used it on a monopod held in the air for views over crowds or just for a change.
