Ok, we're having dinnner and a little riddle has come up which is destroying us - probably cos of the wine but anyway, can someone explain this... (apparently
from soccer am)
Three people go for dinner.
The bill comes to £25
They pay £10 each. (total £30)
With the £5 change, the waiter decides he will give £1 each back to the diners, keep £2 for himself
So that means each person has paid £9 (27 total) and the waiter has £2, making £29. So where has the other £1 gone?????
Please help us drunken idiots to understand this because we are weak of mind!
