Well it was rainy a bit in Marlow this morning, and in London but then it stopped and the sun came out.

It did however cause massive disruption when I went back into the house this morning to get my brolly, the dog thought I was home and got excited and wanted a fuss made of her but I had to leave again, she got most confused!

Pretty blowy here at Heathrow. I think we've had every weather pattern except snow today. Rain, sunshine, strong wind, clouds, even hail.

My elderly neighbour planted some roses over the weekend. I came home this weekend and found them strewn all over the road and my driveway.

I replanted the ones that had been uprooted for her.

I live in a flat and park on the road. There's a big tree on the green outside the flat, and lastnight a bit of tree came down just between my car and another. I'm very lucky not to have a bent car, here's the bit of tree.

Nobody is parking anywhere near the tree for a while.

The wind was so strong we heard and saw a milk bottle being blown down the road. It must have been blown all the way from 1997.

Tell your sister in law she needs a big stake to secure her bush.

I dread to think what shape her venus flytrap is in. And one can only imagine what a sore end the poor woman's back garden must have come to.

SW Florida

Luckily we have steak, beer and Vodka here so I may be ok without having to get my swimmers on. More rain due shortly.

Re-purposed one of the UPS' to run the cable modem, router and TV. Laptop, phone and iPad all have full charge.

I don't think the misses has pruned for a week or so. Is that what you mean?

My biggest concern are the juicy mangos going flying from the tree in the wind. Found one on the other side of the street this morning!

I follow model/actor/personality Kelly Brook on Twitter. She's a very keen and skilled gardener and even had the BBC doing a feature on her gardening work during the recent Chelsea Flower Show.

But she's still Kelly Brook and today posted: [my] "Garden is getting battered". Oh Kelly, Kelly, Kelly.

hehe
