Safari v Chrome

Just a comment, maybe nothing to with the web site. I have always used Chrome to log in to and post on PH's, since I upgraded my iPad yesterday, although I can log in, typing text is an almost non starter, although works fine on other web sites I use.
However it works on Safari which I am using now.
