Save your money and don't bother mate!
(Once was enough for us).

It ain't worth the hassle and the crap you have to go through, not just to get the tickets in the first place, but the pathetic conditions and facilities once there, too many weirdos and drunks everywhere, (most of them wondering if it is Saturday or Christmas), disgusting toilets with huge queues for the pleasure of visiting them, similar washing facilities, etc etc etc.
Very expensive, not enough staff and all in all, PANTS!

Take the car to the coast instead for a rally or sommink.

sorry my friend - there's little you can tell me about glasto. this visit will be my 8th or 9th ( understandably hazy on how many i've been to! ).
you may not take kindly to this, but i'm glad you were put off, as details like toilets ( let's face it - how many times do you need to take a dump in a day? ) are as nothing to the experience as a whole. the more first timers who are discouraged this way, the better, as far as i'm concerned.

think we got lucky. aloud now show it as sold out. waiting my confimation mail.

Glastonbury is a music event where 500,000 people go and spend a weekend in tents in a muddy field with filthy toilets, extortionately priced food and drink, usually in the rain while pretending they're having a good time.

That is my vision of hell actually-to be stuck in a place like that for all eternity.

agreed - wouldn't like it in a million years, unless I could stay in a luxurious hotel, have my own invisible helicopter, and personal proper toilet, with full on corporate hospitality...

then I'd go to glastonbury.

100,000 people.

Best place on earth for 4 days a year.

There truly is nothing like it.

Utterly wonderful.

The acts that perform at Glastonbury now are very trad, middle of the road types. It's lost the edge it once had.

If you must go to a festival, then perhaps All Tomorrow's Parties: www.atpfestival.com/
