A4 B9 2.0 TDI Stronic 7th gear juddder

Hi

I have just had my fist lengthy drive in a new A4 20 TDi Sline Stronic 150. I noted that when feathering the throttle on the motorway around 70mph and in 7th I get a judder, if I press harder it chages to 6th and goes. Is this known and just characteristic of the Stronic box (circa 1400rpm)

I would suggest it may have been coasting and the judder was the torque converter locking back up or maybe you had not pressed on hard enough in that gear to get lock up.

Thanks for thought. I could replicate it on demand and not after coasting. Do the dsg's have a torque converter?
