It's all about the front end and a bit about sound package p

Had the GT4 for just over a week now.
So I'm not going to blather on about how good it is as everyone has heard it. But it really is that good.
A surprise was how good the Sound Package Plus is compared to my expectations. I actually think it sounds better than the Bose that was in my GTS especially the lower end. It seems to cut through the cabin noise better as well. Anyone else thought the same?
I have SPP in my Spyder and to be honest I don't listen to music too much as I like hearing the crazy noise the engine/exhaust make.
But as I was driving down the autobahn this afternoon at a fair pace, I did put a CD in and honestly was surprised at the quality. Especially the Bass. I even had to check someone hadn't been messing with the settings.
Certainly as good if not better than the Bose in my old 987BS

I bought mine new and chose SPP over Bose. In my opinion Bose had that nasty micro/sub soundbar type sound, no mid range. SPP was at least balanced with enough punch, standard sound in the 981 is atrocious. So I'm not going to blather on about how good it is as everyone has heard it. But it really is that good.

Agree. My 1984 MG Metro had a better sound than the std in the 981.Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
